VUCA Consulting has always embraced the virtual world of work and offers employees the flexibility to work from home. This approach works well for the team and the company’s productivity. However, getting together every now and again, especially to celebrate, is something VUCA values too.

On Thursday 8 December 2022, the VUCA team came together for their annual year-end celebration.

The theme? ‘A summer party’ with a focus on the following two elements:

Reflection

The time together was spent reminiscing on the past year and giving each employee an opportunity to share their highlights and challenges. Yes, the challenges were tough, but hearing about all the achievements and breakthroughs was a true testimony to the VUCA team’s resilience.

Rest

Although most employees wouldn’t be on leave for another week or two, the function was meant to set the tone for the time of rest away from work. So apart from briefly talking about work, the VUCA team spent time encouraging each other and catching up on holiday plans whilst enjoying good food and drinks. Each employee was also spoiled with a thoughtful gift as a token of the company’s thankfulness for each person’s hard work and dedication. Definitely a great way to kick off the festive season!
