iSpring Suite Version 11 is here!
But first, who is VUCA and why the excitement for the latest iSpring release?
VUCA Consulting is a production eLearning company that has designed and developed content for many corporates within numerous industries since 2014. At VUCA we aim to continuously implement the newest features in the development of our eLearning courses to ensure up-to-date techniques and processes are presented to users. With this in mind, I’m sure you can understand why we are so excited about the new release.
iSpring Suite
iSpring Suite is an eLearning authoring toolkit that VUCA uses in the development of courses and training materials. VUCA is a platinum partner and has chosen to collaborate with iSpring as they are considered one of the industry leaders in the course authoring space.
iSpring Suite 11 was released on 1 September 2022. Why is this compelling, you may ask? The latest version includes an array of intuitive enhancements. These new features provide our team of designers with increased options when it comes to the development of more engaging courses, which inherently increases the learning experience of users. This also means that learners stay focused for longer, retain greater amounts of information and simply enjoy the courses more. What a win!
The new features
Let’s have a look at some of the new features iSpring Suite 11 offers and how they will enable us as VUCA to further enhance the products and services we deliver to our clients, as well as the learning experience of the users.
- New customisation capabilities
With the added customisation settings, the player can be designed to better match a company’s corporate branding, making the content feel more familiar to users. This is wonderful because, in our experience, we have found that most clients prefer to have their corporate identity incorporated into the courses we build for them.
- The content library has been updated to include hand-drawn characters and locations
Over and above the characters that iSpring offered in their previous versions, hand-drawn characters and locations (also referred to as background images) have been added. This expansion provides VUCA designers with more variety, allowing them to choose which characters will best suit the look and feel of the respective course being built.
These new hand-drawn characters and locations will also increase user engagement by adding an element of fun to interactive slides or role-play scenarios. We simply can’t wait to start using them!
- Learners can now adjust the course playback speed
We don’t want to choose a favourite, but if we had to, this feature may just be it.
VUCA applies design principles in the development of courses to ensure learnable content is produced for all types of learners during any project, i.e., visual learners, auditory learners, reading/writing learners and kinaesthetic learners.
Having the option of adjusting the playback speed of a course, whether it is to speed it up or slow it down, is most definitely on track to achieving learnable content. This allows users to learn at a pace that is most comfortable for them based on their unique learning needs. What a great way to increase the overall learning experience!
Whether you are sitting at home, in the office, at school or on the go – learning has never been easier.
